This oval velvet travel jewelry box is purpose-built for travel retailers, bridal-gift OEM, and subscription-box brands. Featherlight at ~60g with a footprint of 10.8 × 5.8 × 4.6 cm — small enough for a handbag pocket, structured enough to protect rings and studs through airport handling. Soft-touch velvet exterior, ivory satin interior, full-perimeter metal zipper. MOQ 1000 pcs across the full velvet color palette; custom Pantone available.
Built on a die-cut EVA core wrapped in premium short-pile velvet — the same velvet grade used on our standard ring boxes, color-matched against our master swatch library so that re-orders ship within one ΔE step of the reference (KB color management: cold-black vs warm-black system applied across all velvet stock).
The base interior is split into 4 ring slots, 1 earring pearl-pad, and 1 open utility compartment. The lid flips up to a soft pillow that holds a necklace or bracelet in transit without tangling. Layout was designed against a brief from European wedding-travel retailers: must carry a ring set, two pairs of studs, and one small pendant — fit in 60 g.

Stock velvet colors include Sky Blue, Blush Pink, Light Gray, Beige, Khaki, Burgundy, and Navy. Custom Pantone matching is available for orders ≥1500 pcs per color — we dye-lot match against your supplied Pantone TCX/TPX reference and return a velvet swatch in 7-10 days for color sign-off before bulk.
Velvet does not accept hot-stamping or silk-screen well (the fibers absorb foil unevenly). Recommended logo methods for this box:
Per KB hot-stamping rules — if you do insist on foil on a non-velvet surface (e.g. the satin lining): keep line strokes ≥0.4 mm, coverage ≤60% of decorated area, and avoid sharp internal corners.
For oval-format lids, the optical center sits ~3 mm above the geometric center (KB §8 grid principle). Our design team applies this offset automatically on dieline preview; you do not need to compensate when submitting artwork.
Every unit ships through our standard 7-stage QC: material check → cutting → die cutting → hand assembly → logo decoration → 100% piece inspection (not batch sampling) → UV sterilization + dehumidification. The final UV + dehumidify step is especially important for textile-wrapped boxes — it removes the trapped humidity that causes velvet to flatten or develop musty odor during long ocean transit.
Each box ships in an individual OPP bag → 50 pcs inner carton → master export carton (~500 pcs / carton, weight ~32 kg). Inner cartons are honeycomb-stacked to avoid edge crush — important because the soft velvet shell shows pressure marks if cartons collapse in transit.
Standard MOQ 1000 pcs per color. Pre-production samples ship in 7-10 days (existing colors) or 12-15 days (custom Pantone), freight collect via DHL/FedEx. Reorders 15-20 working days from PO.

Yes. Our die-cut foam tooling supports custom slot configurations from 2 to 8 ring slots, swappable earring pads, and re-sized utility compartments. New die-cut tooling fee is ~USD 80 per layout and is waived for orders ≥3000 pcs. We return a foam mock-up sample in 10 days for fit approval before bulk.
Velvet doesn't take hot-stamping or silk-screen cleanly because the pile absorbs foil unevenly. Best methods for this format: (1) riveted metal name-plate on the lid — most premium, (2) direct embroidery on the velvet — best for typographic marks, (3) full-color printed satin lining — visible when the box opens. We'll recommend a method based on your logo artwork after reviewing the vector file.
No — every unit ships through UV sterilization plus dehumidification at the final QC stage. These remove trapped humidity inside the closed box before pack-out, which is the leading cause of velvet matting and musty smell during 30–45 day ocean transit. Inner cartons are also honeycomb-stacked to prevent edge crush that would flatten the velvet pile.
First order with custom artwork: 20–30 working days from artwork sign-off (includes new dieline approval, color sample, and bulk production). Reorders against existing artwork and stock colors: 15–20 working days from PO. We hold buffer stock on the standard velvet colors so reorders skip the raw-material lead time.
