Saffiano PU Leather Shell with a Cream Velvet Ring Slot

The shell is a rigid paper board wrapped in cross-grain saffiano PU leather — the same fine-textured finish used on premium small-leather goods, which resists scuffs and fingerprints far better than smooth coated paper. Inside, a cream velvet ring slot holds the ring upright and a soft velvet pad lines the lid, cushioning the piece during handling and transit. The clamshell hinge keeps the lid attached so nothing is misplaced, and the flat square base lets the box sit cleanly in a display case or a gift bag.

Foil stamping and debossing

A logo or monogram is applied to the lid in gold, silver or rose-gold foil, or pressure-debossed into the saffiano grain for a tone-on-tone mark. Per our foil standards, keep line strokes at or above 0.4 mm, hold solid-foil coverage under about 60% of the decorated area, and avoid sharp internal corners, which push foil-lift on a textured wrap.

Printed satin lining and inserts

For a full-color brand statement, a logo can be printed on a satin lining set into the lid, revealed when the box is opened. Custom-printed insert cards and ribbon details are also available to match a collection.

Logo placement

The optical center of the lid sits slightly above the geometric center, so a logo dropped dead-center looks like it is sinking. Our design team positions the mark in the upper-middle third of the lid and returns a dieline mock-up for sign-off, so you do not need to pre-compensate when you submit artwork.

Quality Control, Packing and MOQ

Every box passes a multi-stage check: PU inspection → wrapping → foil or deboss → hinge assembly → velvet slot fitting → 100% piece inspection (wrap seams, hinge action, foil adhesion, slot grip, lint clean-down) → dehumidification. The dehumidify step protects the velvet interior, which absorbs more moisture than smooth PU and can mat during 30-45 day ocean transit if not properly dried.

Packing and sampling

Each box ships in an individual poly bag → inner carton → master export carton, honeycomb-stacked to avoid edge crush. Standard MOQ 500 pcs per color. Pre-production samples ship in 7-12 days (foil and deboss dies require sign-off), freight collect via DHL/FedEx. Bulk lead time 20-30 working days; reorders 15-25 working days from PO.
