This gold-border flip-top jewelry box is a fabric-wrapped square case with a foil-stamped scalloped frame on the lid, a soft ribbon pull-tab to lift it open, and a brushed microfiber-suede interior. It is built for jewelers, pearl and bridal-set brands, and gift retailers who want a warm, textile-finish box that photographs softer than glossy PU leather but still reads premium on the shelf. Available in two coordinated sizes — a compact ring box and a larger pendant / set box — in four stock colors. Custom-logo ready via gold foil stamping, a printed lid frame, or a satin-lining print. MOQ 500 pcs per color. Not sure which box format fits your line? See our guide to custom jewelry packaging types.
The shell is a rigid wrapped box — hardboard wrapped in a linen-texture fabric, not flimsy folding card — so it holds a crisp square edge and a reassuring weight in the hand. The signature detail is the gold-foil scalloped border hot-stamped around the lid: a decorative frame that gives the plain fabric face a finished, jewelry-counter look without needing a metal plate or charm. A short ribbon tab at the front lifts the hinged lid smoothly with one finger.
The format ships in two sizes that share the identical fabric, gold border and ribbon pull, so they read as one coordinated series on a retail display:
Compact square box with a ring-slot insert, sized for a single ring or a pair of stud earrings. The classic format for proposal rings, fashion rings and small gift items.
Larger square box with an open suede pad, sized for a necklace and pendant, an earring-and-pendant set, or a small parure. The pad presents the suite cleanly the moment the lid is lifted.
Decoration is matched to the fabric exterior and the printed gold border already on the lid:
Your logo is hot-stamped in gold (or silver / rose-gold) inside or beneath the scalloped border — the most premium and most common choice, since it sits naturally within the existing gold frame. Per our hot-stamping standards, keep line strokes ≥0.4 mm, hold solid-foil coverage under ~60% of the decorated area, and avoid sharp internal corners, which push foil-lift and fabric fray.
The scalloped border itself can be customized — different frame motifs, a different foil color, or your brand pattern printed in place of the standard scallop. Custom frame artwork requires a new stamping die (one-time tooling, waived above higher volumes).
The optical center of the lid sits slightly above the geometric center (KB §8 grid principle), so a logo dropped dead-center looks like it is sinking toward the ribbon. Our design team places artwork on the upper-middle third inside the gold frame and returns a dieline mock-up for sign-off, so you do not need to pre-compensate when you send the vector file.
Stock colors: Sage Green, Blush Pink, Wine Red, and Ivory. The gold scalloped border and grey suede interior are standard across all colors; contrast interior or ribbon combinations are available on request. Custom Pantone matching for the fabric is offered for orders ≥1500 pcs per color, with a dyed swatch returned in 7-10 days for sign-off before bulk.
Every box passes a multi-stage check: fabric inspection → cutting → wrapping → gold-foil stamping → hand assembly → 100% piece inspection (hinge cycle, ribbon pull-test, foil adhesion, lint clean-down) → UV sterilization + dehumidification. The dehumidify step matters for fabric and suede, which absorb more moisture than smooth PU and can develop musty odor during 30-45 day ocean transit if not properly dried.
Each box ships in an individual OPP / non-woven bag → inner carton → master export carton, honeycomb-stacked to avoid edge crush. Standard MOQ 500 pcs per color (mix the two sizes within one color toward the minimum). Pre-production samples ship in 7-10 days for stock colors, 12-15 days when custom logo or custom Pantone is involved, freight collect via DHL/FedEx. Bulk lead time 20-30 working days; reorders 15-25 working days from PO.

The decorative scalloped frame on the lid is gold-foil hot-stamping applied to the fabric face — not a printed sticker or a metal plate, so it will not peel. It comes standard on all four colors. You can fully customize it: change the frame motif, switch the foil to silver or rose-gold, or replace the scallop with your own brand pattern. Custom frame artwork needs a one-time stamping die (tooling fee waived at higher volumes). Your own logo is typically hot-stamped inside or beneath the existing frame.
Two coordinated sizes share the identical fabric, gold border and ribbon pull. The small size is a ring box with a ring-slot insert — one ring or a pair of stud earrings. The large size is a pendant / set box with an open suede pad — a necklace and pendant, an earring-and-pendant set, or a small parure. Because they share one look, mixing both sizes in the same color creates a unified retail display. Custom sizes are available to spec; give us the items to fit and we will cut the insert to match.
Gold foil stamping is the default and most premium choice because it sits naturally inside the gold frame already on the lid — best for word-marks and simple icons. For full-color or very fine logos, a printed satin lining inside the lid holds more detail and reveals on opening. A subtle tone-on-tone embossing on the fabric is an option if you prefer no foil. Per our hot-stamping rules keep line strokes ≥0.4 mm, foil coverage under ~60% of the decorated area, and avoid sharp internal corners. Send your vector logo and we will recommend the best fit and return a mock-up.
The fabric is a linen-texture wrap bonded to a rigid hardboard shell, so it holds a crisp square edge and a solid weight — it is not folding card. Compared to glossy PU leather it photographs softer and matte, feels warmer to the touch, and holds the gold foil border with clean edges. Fabric does show surface lint like any textile (we tack-roll every box before packing), and it is slightly less wipe-clean than smooth PU, so for high-humidity retail environments we recommend keeping boxes bagged until they reach the shelf.
MOQ is 500 pcs per color; you can mix the two sizes within one color toward that minimum. Pre-production samples ship in 7-10 days for stock colors, or 12-15 days when custom logo, custom frame or custom Pantone is involved, sent freight-collect via DHL/FedEx. Bulk production runs 20-30 working days; reorders are faster at 15-25 working days from PO since the dieline and stamping die are already on file. Custom Pantone fabric dyeing requires 1500 pcs per color with a 7-10 day swatch approval before bulk.
